We have more than 20 years of cooperation with JCH GmbH., of which another milestone will be the current Bad Ischl project. Namely, we have been entrusted with the reconstruction of a Baumit plant unit located in the Austrian town, together with the construction of its conveyor bridge. Both investments will greatly increase the efficiency of material transport within the factory areas.
The project started in January this year, when the remodeling of the factory units started. The construction of the conveyor towers and the pre-assembly of the bridge began in the subsequent month. All these processes spanned a four-month period; they lasted from February to the end of May. During this time, the tallest tower reached up to 43 metres into the sky, and the largest of the pre-assembled units was approximately 50 metres long and weighed 25 tonnes. Due to these dimensions, the works were carried out with two cranes from the beginning of summer. However, the narrow areas due to the original design of the factory, and its location being next to the railway made it difficult to carry out the work. Therefore, all processes have been carried out on the basis of pre-planned, coordinated work.
During the project, now nearly completed, the Baumit factory got a new 200-metre-long conveyor bridge. The completion of the works and the handover also includes plastering and technological complementation. Our team with special highscaler skills (led by László Molnár) played a central role in the implementation of all this and the first phase of the expansion.
Although the handover has not yet taken place, it can be said on behalf of all professionals of KÉSZ Metaltech and KÉSZ Group that we are proud of our Bad Ischl project and would like to thank our colleagues for their dedicated work. In support of this, we have also won the subsequent architectural order, which means that our 20-year cooperation with JCH GmbH. will be extended by years.
