Composite panels - Alpolic, Stacbond

ALPOLIC^TM A1 is a composite panel consisting of two 0.5 mm thick aluminum cover sheets and a non-combustible mineral core (3 mm). The core consists of almost 100% non-combustible ingredients and has a calorific value of less than 1 MJ/kg. ALPOLIC^TM A1 is currently the only composite panel in the world that has been classified according to DIN EN 13501-1 for the highest fire protection class A1. This means: non-flammable and no smoke in the event of a fire. A sustainable alternative to metal facade materials or other cladding.

Like all ALPOLIC^TM products, ALPOLIC^TM A1 is easy to process and form, weather-resistant, impact-resistant and has a high level of flatness. The front is color-coated with the high-quality fluoropolymer resin LUMIFLON^TM (FEVE) and is therefore very resistant to weather influences, UV radiation, corrosion and color fading.

ALPOLIC^TM A1 composite panels are particularly recommended for construction projects in which a very high level of fire protection or the use of non-combustible facade materials is required - for example high-rise buildings or special buildings such as schools, hospitals, retirement homes, etc.

ALPOLIC^TM A2 is a composite panel consisting of two 0.5 mm thick aluminum cover sheets with a non-combustible mineral core (3 mm). It meets the very high fire protection requirements according to EN 13501-1, class A2-s1, d0 and is approved by the building authorities.

The aluminum composite panels can be shaped in many different ways and are extremely easy to process. In addition, they impress with other advantages: low weight, high flatness, impact resistance and bending ability. The front is coated with the high-quality fluoropolymer resin LUMIFLON TM (FEVE) and is therefore very colorfast and extremely durable.

ALPOLIC^TM A2 composite panels are particularly recommended for ventilated curtain wall projects that must meet very high fire protection requirements. Special requirements apply to these facade constructions. Not only the individual building materials, but the entire system including the substructure, insulation, connecting elements, etc. must meet the fire protection requirements. In Great Britain, extensive large-scale fire tests were carried out by the BRE testing institute in accordance with BS 8414-1. ALPOLIC^TM composite panels met the high requirements of BR 135. This was tested in 11 different test setups. The result confirms the high quality and fire safety of the ALPOLIC^TM A2 composite panels in the overall facade system.

ALPOLIC^TM/fr is a composite panel consisting of two 0.5mm thick aluminium cover sheets with a flame-retardant mineral polymer core (2.0 to 5.0mm). It meets the requirements of fire class B - s1, d0 and is approved by the building authorities.

The composite panels convince through easy formability, easy processing with standard tools, variety of colours, weather resistance and low weight. The front side is coated with LUMIFLON^TM, based on a high-quality fluoropolymer resin (FEVE). This unique coating ensures greater colour brilliance and resistance to ordinary resins. ALPOLIC^TM is therefore an ideal material for almost unlimited design possibilities for ventilated façades of any application.
